Salary range: $120,000-130,000

Based in New York City, it represents thousands of US donors, alumni, and stakeholders who invest in the Technion's growth and innovation to advance critical research and technologies that serve the State of Israel and the global good. ATS employs a staff of 60 + that work from New York and in regional offices across the United States.

YOUR ROLE

The American Technion Society (ATS) is seeking a Full time Temporary contract Events & Operations Manager to lead and execute high-impact events and strategic projects across the U.S. This NY based hybrid role oversees all aspects of national event planning—including board meetings, Innovation Days, workshops, and missions to Israel—and supports cross-departmental coordination with senior leadership, fundraising, and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead logistics, vendor coordination, and planning for Innovation Days, National Board meetings, and other flagship events.
  • Oversee agenda development, run-of-show writing, and event execution from start to finish—onsite and remotely.
  • Lead activities of team members, manage budgeting and registration platforms (e.g., Cvent), and review communications and seating plans.
  • Act as the primary liaison to hotels, tour operators, and external partners.
  • Serve as a key project manager for international missions and special initiatives.
  • Potential travel for ATS site visit to Scottsdale, AZ (August/September 2025).
  • Travel to the ATS National Board of Directors meeting in Scottsdale, AZ (Travel Dates: November 12-17, 2025).

Ideal Candidate

  • Detail-oriented leader with 7+ years of high-level event planning experience.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities, vendor relationships, and senior stakeholder expectations.
  • Experienced with CRM, event software, and budgeting.
  • Skilled in logistics, communication, and onsite event troubleshooting.
  • Experience with or knowledge of Israel a plus (not required).
