A Technion Connection Generations in the Making

IDF soldiers in the background of an israeli flag with a blue graphic | Donate to Israel | Support the Technion

I got involved with the Technion. There was an, an ATS talk at my synagogue, and a woman who was there in attendance who I’m friends with said, “Hey, we have something in the gift shop you might be interested in.” And it was a, a modern interpretation of the Technion logo. And I had it framed, and I put it up in my office.

And some months later, my mother was at my house and went into my office, and she said, “Do you know your grandfather was a very early donor to, to the Technion?” You know, I had this weird feeling that once I got involved, that this had been in my bones, and apparently it was, and this brought it full circle for me.

Marc Bernstein knew why he supported the Technion. What he didn’t know was that his grandfather had supported it, too. Discover how a piece of art uncovered a surprising family connection and turned Marc’s own involvement into part of a legacy spanning generations.
