Pitch Night isn’t just a student competition — it’s a launchpad for the next generation of Technion innovators. By turning bold ideas into real-world solutions, these students are gaining hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, engineering, and impact. It’s a powerful glimpse into how the Technion is shaping Israel’s future, and the future of technology itself. Keep scrolling to see what innovation in action really looks like.

I think there’s something entrepreneurial in Israeli DNA. I feel beyond privileged to have listened to all the wonderful pitches tonight and hopefully follow up with them.”

Eric Brandon, Startup Business Development

On June 18, 2025, Pitch Night brought together food, networking, and fierce innovation as Technion t:hub (opens in a new tab) students took the stage to present the next generation of Israeli startups. From AI to sustainable solutions, each team unveiled their business plans, elevator pitches, and bold visions for the future.

An esteemed panel of investors and entrepreneurs challenged the students on everything from scalability to go-to-market strategy, culminating in the selection of a standout winner: Omer Sabary, whose pitch left the judges and audience inspired.

Whether you’re passionate about Israel, technology, or the future of global innovation, Pitch Night offered a front-row seat to what’s next from Startup Nation.

Turbo DNA: A software company aiming to make data storage within DNA molecules commercially viable

“I am transitioning from academia to entrepreneurship, leveraging my expertise to build groundbreaking solutions for next-generation data storage. With a strong technical background in DNA data storage, coding theory, and computational algorithms, I have extensive experience in error correction, information retrieval, DNA sequencing, and scalable data architectures. I have published more than 18 peer-reviewed papers, hold three patents, and have received multiple awards for excellence. Now, I am actively working to turn DNA-based data storage into a viable product — an ultra-dense, long-lasting, and environmentally sustainable solution. My goal is to lead a startup that will revolutionize the way data is stored today.”

Fertinovo: Revolutionizing male fertility diagnosis through innovative egg-like cell technology

“As a biotechnology engineer with a master’s degree in biology, I have a comprehensive understanding of life sciences to the entrepreneurial landscape. My academic journey has equipped me with strong analytical skills and deep scientific knowledge, particularly in cellular biology and biotechnology applications. Currently pursuing an MBA in the prestigious Startup Track at Technion Entrepreneurship Center, I am expanding my expertise to bridge the gap between scientific innovation and business implementation. In my role as chief of business development, I leverage my dual expertise in biological sciences and business administration to drive technological innovations in healthcare. Working alongside leading scientists, I focus on transforming complex scientific concepts into viable business solutions.”

LCAi: An AI-powered platform that enables companies to quickly and affordably measure the environmental impact of all their products

“I earned a B.Sc. in civil and environmental engineering from the Technion, where I founded and directed the first renewable energy student cell for three years. I am also serving as head of academia at Ignite the Spark, a nonprofit organization (NPO) focused on driving innovative energy solutions. My involvement with an intercultural tech camp on climate change, organized by the t:hub and the U.S. Department of State, reinforced my passion for global collaboration on sustainability. Now, as co-founder and chief executive officer of LCAi, I lead an early-stage startup leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to streamline Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) processes, helping organizations make more sustainable decisions. I remain deeply committed to promoting impactful climate and energy initiatives that inspire positive environmental change.”

MoxyMind: A personalized wellbeing platform with expert tools, AI insights, and community support resources

“I am a psychiatrist with more than 25 years of clinical experience, dedicated to helping people build true resilience and lasting wellbeing. As the head of Medical Education American Program at Tel Aviv University (TAU), I have worked to shape the next generation of health care professionals, emphasizing holistic, evidence-based approaches to mental health and patient wellbeing. My passion lies in empowering people to navigate life’s challenges—not just by coping, but by growing stronger, more confident, and more connected. I believe resilience isn’t just about bouncing back; it’s about developing the tools, mindset, and support needed to thrive. Now, I’m bringing this vision to life by creating innovative solutions that make personalized mental health support accessible, helping individuals take control of their wellbeing with the right insights, strategies, and community.”
