Launching cargo into space every hour sounds like science fiction. Hilla Haddad Chmelnik is making it a reality.
In this visionary talk, Hilla introduces a game-changing alternative called Moonshot — a kinetic launch system that uses pure physics and magnets to send cargo into orbit. Hilla invites us to imagine a future where space delivery is as affordable and routine as shipping a container across the ocean.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
Hilla Haddad Chmelnik is the co-founder and CSO of Moonshot, leading the development of space-transforming technologies, and a former director general at the Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology.
