She was invited to serve the organization in this capacity after one and a half years as ATS’ interim chief marketing officer. She brings more than 35 years of experience in leadership, with a focus on mission-driven nonprofit organizations and businesses. She has served in interim or fractional executive roles for nine organizations over the past three years and is known for building, rebuilding, aligning, and leading high-performing teams.
In the course of her career, Dina has helped to grow a nonprofit public health institute from $250M to $300M over five years, during which she repositioned the organization in the market and worked with stakeholders including employees, the board of directors, corporate partners, and local community leaders. She conducted due diligence and integration for the selection and onboarding of subsidiary nonprofits.
Dina thrives in environments anchored in academics and innovation, making her work supporting the Technion especially meaningful to her. At a national, mission-driven firm founded by MIT faculty as a think tank, she led marketing and partnered with the CEO to lead a strategic planning initiative, largely staffed by Ph.D.s, and working collaboratively with faculty from many universities.
Dina understands first-hand the impact of events in the Middle East and of changing Jewish giving patterns on sustaining and growing Jewish organizations in the U.S. She served on the board and in numerous leadership positions at the large, world-recognized Philadelphia area synagogue Beth Sholom Congregation and at the small community congregation Temple Beth Israel in Waltham, Mass., where she is the immediate past president.
In other volunteer work, Dina serves on the board of a nonprofit organization that exists to raise funds, volunteers, and awareness for an NGO in India. She has created the communications strategy, pioneered an innovative outreach program, developed the annual plan and messages for outbound fundraising, and helped bring compelling stories to a U.S. audience. Her work contributed to achieving fundraising revenue well above plan and far exceeding prior years.
