In this newly released podcast, Shai Shen-Orr, co-founder and chief scientist at CytoReason and professor at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, dives into the next frontier of health care: disease modeling. He explains how CytoReason transforms today’s overwhelming biological data into actionable insights that power smarter, faster drug development for leading pharma and biotech companies.
Shai’s work sits at the heart of a global shift toward data-driven medicine. Disease modeling is reshaping how therapies are discovered, tested, and brought to patients — and Technion researchers like Shai are helping lead that transformation.
Shai serves as the director of the Technion’s Healthy Aging Institute, a multidisciplinary effort uniting researchers to understand the science of aging and extend the years of healthy, active life. His systems-immunology expertise plays a critical role in uncovering how our immune system changes over time, and how science can intervene.
