Maya Goldshlager is an undergraduate in the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering focused in two areas: signal analysis, and biomechanics and fluids. She is also a 2023 Ilene & Steve Berger Technion Visiting Fellow, meeting with ATS supporters in the Northeast United States. Maya is attracted to the field of biomedical engineering for its breadth of subject areas and its many paths forward. For example, in April and May 2022 she participated in two biomedical hackathons where she created prototypes of new medical tools for the treatment of multiple sclerosis and urinary tract infections (UTI), respectively. Roni Goldin ’22 is a master’s candidate in the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering and a 2023 Ilene & Steve Berger Technion Visiting Fellow meeting with ATS supporters in the western coast of the United States. He is researching hypergolic ignition of kerosene-based gel fuel and hydrogen peroxide in rocket motors in the David I.A. Fine Rocket Propulsion Center, with the hope of developing advanced, environmentally friendly rocket propulsion technology. Aviram Avital ’18, M.S. ’20 is a Ph.D. candidate in the Wolfson Department of Chemical Engineering, pursuing his degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and a Technion MBA. He is also affiliated with the Russell Berrie Nanotechnology Institute at the Technion.
