A seasoned entrepreneur and technologist, he first made his name as founder of the smart baby monitor Nanit. He is currently CEO and Founder of Vinst, an early-stage startup aimed at encouraging and elevating home cooking, with the vision of supporting healthier, sustainable nutrition for present and future generations.

Armed with a Technion doctorate in machine learning and computer vision, Glazer joined the Joan and Irwin Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute’s Runway Startup Postdoc Program in early 2014 to develop Nanit. He was a sleep-deprived new dad when he came up with the idea to apply his know-how building intelligent cameras to create the industry’s first smart baby monitor and phone app. Nanit utilized advanced computer vision and machine-learning algorithms to monitor the baby’s sleeping habits and provide parents with a comprehensive report teaching them how to get their baby to sleep through the night.

Nanit was named “One of the Best Inventions of 2018” by TIME Magazine, and in 2024 was recognized as one of the best baby monitors by Wirecutter, a product review website owned by the New York Times. In 2019, Glazer was named by AlleyWatch as one of “50 NYC Tech Influencers” and Nanit soon became one of the fastest growing companies in North America.

Glazer earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. During this time, he worked as an operational researcher at Wales Ltd., providing solutions for Israel’s air defense systems. He then moved on to Applied Materials Israel as an algorithm researcher working on image classification methods for process control in the semiconductor industry.

Alongside his academic degrees, Glazer attended Bishulim – The Israeli Institute of Culinary Arts, earning a Culinary Master Diploma in 2022. Passionate about food, he teamed up with Chen Fisher, an expert pastry chef and co-founding member of Nanit, to launch Vinst. The startup’s first product is an AI-powered cooking companion that improves the user’s cooking experience with real-time vision support.
