Professor Hagit Attiya teaches in the Henry and Marilyn Taub Faculty of Computer Science at the Technion and holds the Harry W. Labov and Charlotte Ullman Labov Academic Chair. She was executive vice president for Academic Affairs at the Technion from 2015 to 2019 and won both the Michael Bruno Memorial Award and the Dijkstra Award in Distributed Computing in 2011. She is a fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), and the editor-in-chief of Springer’s Distributed Computing.
