An Exclusive ATS – Southern California Webinar
Featuring Associate Professor Shai Shen-Orr
Join us for an interactive virtual event exclusively for the ATS – Southern California community. Associate Professor Shai Shen-Orr ’00, who last visited our region in 2019, will update us on how his pioneering research is unlocking the potential for personalized medical treatments and shedding light on “immune age” as a better measure of health than chronological age. Although the functioning of the immune system is important in all diseases, little is known about how it deals with external and internal stressors to keep us healthy. That could all soon change thanks to Prof. Shai Shen-Orr’s interdisciplinary research combined with Technion’s vanguard role in the emerging field of systems immunology. Don’t miss out on this intimate conversation with Prof. Shen-Orr about how his work is helping battle COVID-19 and shaping how we may approach our health in the future.
This program will be moderated by Heather Dula, Board member, ATS – Southern California.
