For 100 years, the Technion has been the technological backbone of Israel. As the people of Israel look forward even during challenging times, no other institution holds more promise for Israel’s next chapter.

The Technion is preparing the leaders, scientists, and entrepreneurs who are forging new frontiers in science to strengthen Israel and protect our planet. They are working to find solutions to the most challenging global problems: reducing climate change, ending hunger and water deprivation, and developing sustainable energy alternatives.

For Israel, water, food, and energy security are of vital national interest. The Technion’s leading research in these areas will not only fortify Israel’s independence but will also strengthen Israel’s relations with international academic institutions, particularly at a time of growing ostracization of Israeli academics. And as the State has looked to the Technion to meet new challenges in science and technology, the Technion will play a leading role in solving these pressing problems for a stronger, self-reliant Israel and a better world.
