Since opening its doors in 1924, the Technion has helped build Israel, safeguard its citizens, and prepare for the future.

To commemorate a century of dreams dreamed — and often fulfilled — the American Technion Society (ATS) held events across the nation recognizing Technion achievements and ATS donors whose philanthropic fingerprints are on buildings, laboratories, and programs throughout campus. “Each of you in his own individual way is determining the development of this University,” said President Professor Uri Sivan during an event on April 9 in New York City. “Without your support, none of this would have been possible.”

While recognition of the centennial was tempered due to the war with Hamas, more than 1,500 ATS friends attended “Technion Centennial: Reimagining the Next 100 Years” events with former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett at 21 marquee events in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, and the greater New York City area.
