Coming Full Circle: From Technion Student to Professor | Southern California
ATS – Southern California Virtual Event
Featuring Arielle Fischer ’11, Ph.D. ’16, Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering and Zuckerman Faculty Scholar
In this interactive virtual event for the ATS – Southern California community, Asst. Prof. Fischer shares her personal and academic journey since she last visited ATS supporters as a doctoral student. As a newly minted Technion faculty member, she’ll talk about her work to create biomedical applications, including high-tech sensors and smart wearable devices for artificial joints and neuromuscular disorders.
Arielle Fischer is the embodiment of excellence. As a young soldier in the Israeli Air Force, she served with distinction, winning several awards, including the Second Lebanon War Medal. She then excelled in her academic pursuits. Now, after earning all three degrees at the Technion and conducting postdoctoral research at Stanford University, she is fulfilling a lifelong ambition — returning to the Technion with a lab of her own.
This Coming Full Circle event was moderated by Janey Sweet, President, ATS – Southern California.
