The American Technion Society (ATS) is currently seeking a Program Coordinator to join their growing organization. This position is a hybrid New York Metro-based role.
Salary range: $67,000-77,000

The American Technion Society (ATS) supports visionary education and world-changing impact through the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. Based in New York City, it represents thousands of US donors, alumni, and stakeholders who invest in the Technion's growth and innovation to advance critical research and technologies that serve the State of Israel and the global good. ATS employs a staff of 60 + that work from New York and in regional offices across the United States.
YOUR ROLE
The Program Coordinator provides project management, support, and coordination services for speaker itineraries across the organization. The Program Coordinator will also assist in identifying new speakers for ATS speaker tours and programs domestically and internationally as well as assist in the coordination of events on behalf of the ATS and Technion as needed especially where speakers are involved.
SKILLS and STRENGTHS
- Manage and execute speaker itineraries and travel logistics (domestic/international) to ensure seamless experiences
- Lead virtual/online program run-of-show; coordinate with ATS staff, Technion speakers, and panelists
- Represent the Programs team in cross-functional event strategy planning for donor engagement; lead execution of approved events
- Coordinate communication between staff and speakers; prepare speakers for engagements
- Serve as 24/7 point of contact during speaker travel for emergencies
- Collaborate with marketing to develop and approve content (bios, invitations, collateral)
- Track sabbatical/post-doc info; maintain budgets and process invoices
- Identify and vet Technion professors/alumni for speaker opportunities
- Build and maintain speaker database; assist with speaker interviews and script creation
- Manage department admin tasks, project tracking, calendars, and reporting
- Support ATS event coordination and special projects, particularly where speakers are involved
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of experience coordinating speakers and events, preferably in fundraising or association settings
- Exceptional communication, writing, organizational, and project management skills
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and calm under pressure
- Creative self-starter with sound judgment and ability to work across diverse teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with Zoom, Dropbox, and Google Drive
- Interest in science and technology a plus
