In this senior leadership role, she oversees Donor Relations and Stewardship and Prospect Research, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with the Technion’s priorities.

With 20 years of experience in higher education advancement and development, Maryellen brings a deep expertise in strategic planning, donor relations, and project management. Prior to her current role, she served as executive director of campaign operations & donor relations and director of resource development at ATS, where she played a key role in donor strategy, principal gifts coordination, and national fundraising efforts.

Earlier in her career, Maryellen held several leadership positions at Columbia University, including assistant director and development program coordinator for principal gifts, and a role at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). Her work focused on high-level donor cultivation, stewardship, and strategic event planning. She also supported global fundraising initiatives and managed international development projects and alumni relations.

Maryellen holds a Master of Science in Fundraising Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Art Studio (Photography) from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is known for her collaborative leadership style, data-driven decision-making, and passion for science, technology, and the mission of the Technion.
