She built her career across the entertainment and nonprofit sectors, including 20 years at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), where she oversaw day-to-day financial operations, accounted for a $1B investment portfolio, and managed reporting and use of more than 1,000 donor and endowment funds. Earlier, she was a financial analyst for HBO and an auditor at Coopers & Lybrand, serving clients such as Comedy Central, The Daily News, and The Whitney Museum of American Art.

Deborah serves on several nonprofit boards, including Maharat, and contributes her financial expertise to Hebrew at the Center through its finance committee.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Binghamton University and a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a certified coach through the International Coaching Federation.
