The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology’s Sustainable Protein Research Center is developing solutions to feed our growing population while cutting our carbon footprint. Gain insights from SPRC experts who are revolutionizing the field: Prof. Yoav D. Livney discussed his work extracting edible protein from sea algae and doing other exciting projects. Prof. Maya Davidovich-Pinhas’ explained her research, which focuses on providing juicy and favorable textures to plant and cultured meat analogues. And Prof. Luai Khoury talked abouat pioneering new protein-based “smart” biomaterials.
