Each year, the Technion’s academic rankings reach new heights. The University is currently rated #79 of all technology and science universities in the world. This is due in large part to the recruitment and retention of outstanding faculty, who nurture the next generation of innovators. And because having the ability to perform impactful research is the driving force in academic careers, providing faculty with world-class research facilities and support is essential to attracting and keeping talent. An investment in top-notch faculty today helps make a Nobel Prize possible in 30-40 years.
Your gift to the Technion’s investment in faculty recruitment and retention will support:
The New Faculty Startup Support Fund. This is a powerful tool to attract the most accomplished researchers in Israel and from across the globe to faculty positions. Support provides each recruited faculty member with a new or renovated laboratory, complete with state-of-the-art equipment and personnel to develop and lead multiple laboratory teams.
The Mid-Career Faculty Achievement Grant. The aim of this grant is to retain mid-career faculty, providing associate professors with supplemental funding to advance their research and teaching skills and methodology, demonstrating the Technion’s commitment to their work.
Academic Chairs. The designation of an academic chair acknowledges the unique academic accomplishments of full professors, recognizing their dedication to teaching, academic scholarship, and interdisciplinary research.
Help the Technion attract and retain the brightest faculty responsible for leading cutting-edge research and educating future generations of the Startup Nation. To learn more about funding opportunities, contact info@ats.org.
