Although the functioning of the immune system is important in all diseases, little is known about how it deals with external and internal stressors to keep us healthy. That could all change thanks to Prof. Shai Shen-Orr’s interdisciplinary research on immune monitoring combined with Technion’s vanguard role in the emerging field of systems immunology.
